Quotes

This notion of a "Christian" nation, and our constant lip service to "freedom and justice for all" have made our country a sick joke in the rest of the civilized world. Our history of violence against women, blacks, Native Americans, immigrants, dissenters, and religious minorities surfaces through every crack in our national foundation. No sooner do we identify a "threat" or an enemy, whether it is believers in Islam, abortion providers, immigrants, or marijuana users, than someone is proposing rounding them up, putting them in jail or worse.

Ola!

"My name is Omari and I welcome you to my home at Omari's World.

"The name of the book is Omari’s Flight, the Mercy of Love.  This is book one in a four part series about me, a young man coming of age.  My adventures lead me into self discovery.  The experiences covered in the series helped to shape my life and realize that the invisible and the visible are in unity to aid us in daily success.

I have friends.  My best friends are Eric and JoJo.  JoJo and I are on the Jabal Mountain Broading School wrestling team.  While Eric and I are roommates since three years old.

When I’m “just chillin,” I sometimes think about my parents.  I have fantasies about going fishing with my Dada and helping my Mom make dinner for the family.  But it will not happen cause I haven’t seen my parents since I was three years old.  I live here on Jabal Mountains with my Grandparents, Grand and Grand D.  They are good to me.  But you know what it is, make up what you want it to be.  I bet some of you are living just like me.  It is what it is.  But today is the day that I bust a move.  I have made the decision to find my parents."

“Omari…Omari, boy, its time to go to school.”

"That’s Grand D calling me. I gotta go."
